Travelling

Hi there.

I was thinking about travelling. We have just come from a B&B, and I thought:

What if there weren't any buses, cars and airplanes? No bikes, no motors etc?

We would have to travel on horseback by cart, or on foot. I can't imagine that. And the people 400 years ago can't imagine airplanes! You couldn't go very far, it must've been hard, and quite awful, at some times. but now you can never stop. It's always alive, moving. You can't enjoy the view of that beautiful forest, mountain etc. That's what I hate. We're going too fast. I wish it'd all stop, some time. Some day.

Food

Hi there.

I was thinking about food lately. (Yes, I was hungry at the moment.)

I think, that if food had a more attractive color, It somehow would be nicer to eat.

So.. If mushrooms were blue, pink, or even all the colors of the rainbow, it would be so much nicer to eat. And the world would be so much more colorful!

Wonder, and just think about it, how the world would look if there weren't any colors, except black and white, and everything in between. When we're small, we get known with letters, numbers, words. And... Colors. It's been proved, that if you grow up not knowing the color orange, you don't see orange. If you grow up not knowing the difference between blue and green, you can't see the difference between the grass and the sky. What another world you must live in then...

Christmas

Well, since it's almost Christmas, I'd like to 'write' a little about it. I don't think it's going to be a white winter here. I do, and don't mind. First: I don't mind, because every day to school, we have to cycle up and down a hill. Not that I mind, but with snow it's quite dangerous. You'd see me falling down the hill, I guess. And I do mind,because snow makes the world look so much more peaceful. Beautiful. And also: the presents! The birth of Jesus! I guess the world is so much more brighter when it's Christmas. All I want to do when it's Christmas: Get a good book, a nice cup of hot chocolate, a blanket and a piece of warm apple pie. Sit on a nice couch that has a beautiful view of outside. And dream away in my book.

Test-Week

Ugh... Test-weeks coming up.. I just had the first two tests today: Dutch and Geography. I don't have an idea how they went. I wish I had a beautiful room to learn in! I found another one which fits me perfectly! I really love the trees. It's as sleeping in a forest. I love forests, their green trees. Even in the autumn; I love the orange-golden color. I'm already dreaming away...
